Do Eroxon gel reviews say it works? Mostly not. Of 2,163 reviews, 45% give it one star — 973 buyers — and the complaints repeat: no erection, too little gel for the price, and a burning feeling on application. In Australia the question is also practical: Eroxon is not included in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods, and products that are not on it are not approved for supply here (TGA).

Ineffectiveness & Insufficient Quantity

★☆☆☆☆

"I have erectile dysfunction due to having radiotherapy for prostate cancer. I tried this product, and it had the opposite effect—I couldn’t achieve an erection even with stimulation. It’s a waste of money and not even worthy of 1 star for the overall rating."

Misleading Claims & Lack of Sensation

★☆☆☆☆

"Used as directed—applied to the glans and massaged for 15 seconds. According to the blurb, there should have been some cooling followed by warming to encourage blood flow. I felt nothing but an initial slipperiness of the gel, which quickly became unpleasantly sticky. No improvement in erection. Total waste of money."

High Cost for Minimal Results

★☆☆☆☆

"The tubes are so small you have a job squeezing it out, and the quantity is debatable if it worked. It’s expensive for 4 little tubes and doesn’t deliver the promised results. Only gave 1 star as you have to put something."

Negative Physical Reactions

★☆☆☆☆

"Oh, one other point—be careful, it's like dipping a raw cut into a vat of acid on application. It brought a tear to my eye. Completely useless and caused two hours of pain!"

Comparison to Proven Medications

★☆☆☆☆

"After half an hour of foreplay and following the instructions to massage the gel onto the penis head, nothing happened. No erection. We used all four tubes on different days with the same disappointing results. Stick to Viagra—it works!"

How Eroxon works — and why so many reviews are bad

Eroxon is a gel, sold in the UK as a medical device, that is rubbed onto the head of the penis. According to the manufacturer, its cooling and gradual warming stimulate nerve endings there, which leads to more blood flow; the maker says it can help within 10 minutes and reports that 68% of men in its trials had an erection that lasted long enough for sex. It does not work like an ED tablet: sildenafil and tadalafil act on the PDE5 enzyme and increase blood flow to the penis when you are sexually aroused. In the manufacturer's own figures, about a third of the men in its trials did not get an erection that lasted long enough for sex.

Analogy: It’s like applying a cold pack followed by a warm compress to a sore muscle. The temperature changes can increase blood flow and potentially aid in relief. However, unlike targeted medical treatments, the effect is generalized and lacks the precision needed for treating erectile dysfunction.

Which One Suits You Better: Viagra or Cialis

Cialis: Better for Unplanned Sex

Tadalafil can help you get an erection when you are sexually stimulated at any time in the 36 hours after the tablet, so there is less to plan.

Viagra: Faster Onset for Planned Encounters

Sildenafil usually starts working in 30 to 60 minutes and its effects can last for up to 4 hours — it suits sex you can plan an hour ahead.

Cialis: A Daily Option

Tadalafil can also be prescribed as a low dose taken once a day, for men who expect to use it often.
