What are dapoxetine and sildenafil?
Dapoxetine (Priligy) is a short-acting SSRI approved in Australia for premature ejaculation and taken only when needed; sildenafil (the medicine in Viagra) is a PDE5 inhibitor for erectile dysfunction. Both are prescription-only in Australia (TGA). We do not sell dapoxetine.
Why can't they be combined?
Because the pair may lower blood pressure on standing — dapoxetine can itself make you faint — and because the combination has not been shown to be safe and effective (Priligy product and consumer medicine information). Beware "combination" tablets
In 2026 the TGA found undeclared sildenafil, tadalafil and dapoxetine in sexual enhancement products sold as supplements — one contained sildenafil and dapoxetine together (TGA safety advisory). An unknown dose of a combination the label rules out is the worst case.
The short answer
